What can someone do in 2 years? The image above is a pretty good example, but it’s only part of the many changes that have happened. I really wanted to change my life around when I took that before picture. I soon realised that it’d take more than just picking up some weights. For those of you who are frustrated with your progress (or lack thereof), whether it’s your fitness, your job, your relationship, or if you’re just not happy with where you are in life, you have to find what your biggest barrier is. Mine, was myself.

I bet that after those first few weeks after you joined the gym, you noticed that you were getting stronger and healthier and felt even better because of it. But just like me you fell off the horse, in fact I fell off quite a few times in some of the worst ways. That before picture was after I had my car accident. After such a traumatic experience I KNEW I needed to change my life around. However, even though I knew this I still made excuses or couldn’t find the motivation to make the changes I NEEDED to make. It was almost 5 months after my car accident that I grew a pair and decided to take that picture.

It was in this last year that I finally found my feet through Daniel Pardo. He gave me my motivation by guiding me to realise my potential and his continual positivity allowed me to just keep going. MOST IMPORTANTLY, before I met Dan, I developed the right mindsets in that first year when I kept failing. Yes failing. I needed to fail to find out what I was doing wrong. We procrastinate because rather than seeking pleasure, we want to avoid pain, and failing hurt…a lot. You’ve got to be ready to fail, you’ve got to be ready for people to criticise you and tell you you’re wrong and try to bring you down.

Dan gave me more than my fitness he reinforced my beliefs. He gave me the ability to make it through some really difficult times, when it seemed the world was against me. How? He knows how to turn hard work into results.
